kālah（カーラ） は、サンスクリット語で「時間」を意味します。
すべてのものは、時間によってかたちづくられる。
私たちは、その「時の痕跡」と「今を紡ぐ手仕事」に、
人の営みの美しさを見出します。

kālah が扱うのは、
長い年月を経て風合いを増した aged objects.
そして職人の手で今もつくられ続ける crafted objects。
どちらも時間とともに生まれ、変化し、受け継がれていくもの。

手でつくられた器や織物には、現在の息づかいがある。

それが 私たちの願うkālahの世界です。
